Love this place right next to el mirage sk8park

I read a lot of the reviews and we decided to go give it a shot. The location itself is small and quaint, but very well set up. I can see based off of where the location is at why it may take a while to get served. Its located at a big park with fields and skate park, so I can see why it gets busy. However we went around 1pm today and it was dead. We ordered and the food was out quick.My reasoning for the 3 stars is simple. The cost of the food is just for the item you order. I was hoping to have a bag of chips or fries to go with it, but they seem to be sold seperate. I asked about combo deal and the lady said it's all sold separately. 1 Italian Beef sandwich, Gatorade, and small shaved ice cost just shy of $14. Little steep for a meal with only a sandwich.My partner ordered a Chicago style hotdog, Gatorade, and Chicago tamale and it cost him just over $11. The dog was good but the tamale was microwaved and all mushy.

Good way to get a real Chicago dog. Kids from the nearby skate park can be annoying and loud.

Nice place to grab a Chicago style dog. Their menu also included some variations of Italian Beef and Meatball sandwiches.

Tasty hot dogs and pretzels

A little pricey, but given the location and lack of competition, I'd be a little pricey as well. The people are friendly and somewhat nice. We went a while ago, and I'm sure stuff has changed since we were there.

Stopped over for lunch and had the Polish hot dog and a pizza puff. They were both very good And the guy working there was very friendly.

Amazing hot dog, great chilli cheese fries, the staff was great. Just a small suggestion, I Would've​ like salt on the fries.

Had some concerns with this establishment had a talk with the owner he went to the ends of the Earth to show me how he would take care of those concerns

Great staff, lovely food.

Extremely overpriced. Service was nice and staff were personable but this is nothing more than an overpriced little league snack bar. It's convenient and a good option if you are at the baseball field or skate park, but not to go out of your way for. 1 polish sausage, 1 brat, 2 bottles of soda was $17. At costco it would've been $6!!

Windy city dogs has the best hot dogs, Italian beefs this side of the Mississippi, since I live in Arizona now, I can at least have my Chicago beef's and hot dogs, thank you Windy City Dogs for being here.

I was here visiting from chicago and we stopped here for lunch. I had the best beef sandwich with lots of mozzarella. This is the best beef sandwich I have ever had. The customer service was great . They have a large variety of food to pick from and are reasonably price. Will definitely eat there again before we leave .

I constantly arrive grabbing some food here. I enjoyed the quick customer service and well made dishes. 5 stars from me.

Walked in with 4 year old autistic grandson to buy him an icecream cone, he needed to use bathroom first. A guy by register tells me we couldn't use bathroom. I told him we was going to purchase icecream, he tells me that I should have told him that first when I walked in. I explained to him that telling a restaurant what i was planning on ordering before I was ready to wasn't what I normally did, and I doubt if your boss would want you to treat your customers like this. He said he was the owner, and if I didn't like it I needed to get out. Well I definitely got out, I'll never go back. I'll also tell my many friends that go to that park how rude the owner was to me and my 4 year old grandson.Hope owner can learn from this situation. Its not like i was walking in with a gang of skateboarders, it was my grandson. I feel a owner of a business should have a little better judgement. Let's hope he is'nt training all of his employees to treat customers like this.

I miss my Chicago Hot Dogs, Beef and Sausage but this place has hit a home run! It's hard to find a place that understands what real Chicago food is like. My Southern wife now understands what I have been talking about when I brag about Chicago hot dogs. She's a fan now too. Thanks for being here.

So the prices are what's worth the two star worthy. Now let's get into the food. The Chicago dog was a jumbo...first of all being from Chicago I can say that isn't the original way it's done. The hot dog I received didn't come with onions but I was starving so I dove in. Now the fries I can tell they were purely frozen ones..taste could tell...the nacho cheese was like a gas station kind..let's be honest it's price speaks for the food...a quickie for the price if your hungry and broke...

Food was very good. Buns got soggy from the krout. I'm assuming.

UPDATE: AND YOUR RESPONSE IS WHY MY INSTINCTS TOLD ME TO LEAVE! You are a rudeperson & running a business with little to no customer service will not last long. & YES! I rateMY HONEST opinions if I enjoyed myself at an establishment or if it were HORRID! THATS WHAT GOOGLE REVIEWS ARE FOR! Not to mention why you have over 20 ONE STAR REVIEWS STATING THE SAME THING “THE OWNER IS RUDE & UNPROFESSIONAL” But be well sir. Know how to take constructive criticism and fix on your weak areas. Wasn’t greeted after 5 minutes of me standing in line. No eye contact or consideration. Just ignored us. I left without getting anything. Mad I drove all this way. Customer service is a must.

A cool little goodie shop in the El Mirage City Hall and park complex. Situated next to basketball courts, soccer fields, baseball diamonds, a YMCA and a very cool little skate park, it may be the perfect recreation destination for the entire family. And you don't have to play hungry. Windy City Dogs has some awesome eats. Go and enjoy!

Was hoping for it to knock my socks off, It was ok but not a " hey let's go grab some beef and dogs" beef was a bit rubbery and dogs were not steamed

Great place. Super friendly staff. They want to serve good food and make sure you leave happy. Located in a great park for a family fun day or quiet time to yourself. Highly recommend

Hot Dogs were a little tough but very tasty. The Icees were great - sort of like the kind NY style street venders would shave up.

Food is delicious. Dogs and the sandwichs are awesome. Very kid friendly as well. I will be trying more off the menu soon.

Loved it taste of home all of the perfect items on the menu everything you see if you're eating in Chicago must stop every time I'm in this part of town

Great food and friendly service! We will definitely be coming back!The hotdogs were exactly what we were craving from back home, the Italian beef was delicious (better than portillos even) and the french fries were nice and crispy! They also had Hawaiian shaved ice for dessert which was a nice treat.

Best street tacos sound. Flavor is second to none. Little place with massive atmosphere. Great owner and staff. You must go there.

I was a little concerned after reading some of the other comments but I’m glad I read between the lines. My only disappointment is that I went with 3 Chicago dogs and didn’t try the Italian Beef (that will be corrected next time).The dogs were OUTSTANDING! I can’t wait to try the Italian Beef.

Wonderful Chicago Dogs, Polish and Italian Beef. Great people, friendly. This place beats some of the dog joints I’ve been to in Chicago.
